Overview
Personalized services can be provided by introducing technology for automatically extracting users' preferences and life styles from life logs obtained from personal computers, portable terminals, and consumer electronic devices. We have developed a technique for extracting preferences from the operating records of terminals, action prediction technology using GPS (global positioning system) information, a visualization technique for a variety of life logs, gait monitoring technology using acceleration information, and remote controller centric technology that can obtain convenient information about the operation of consumer electronics and users' intended actions. These technologies can be applied to various fields like food recommendations and healthcare.
