Overview
We have developed an environmental impact assessment system for quantifying the effect that ICT services have in reducing environmental loads. This system will be used to promote the mitigating effect of ICT services provided by NTT Group companies on the environment. This system can evaluate the difference in environmental load between an ICT service and a reference service performing the same function as the ICT service.
Features
- Environmental loads of ICT services are quantified from standpoint of life-cycle assessment — from manufacture to disposal.
- Its assessments are compliant with the Guideline for ICT Eco-Efficiency Evaluation developed by the Japan Forum on Eco-Efficiency.
- This is the only system capable of assessing how communications facilities and equipment used in ICT services reduce environmental loads.
- Filling out the Web form is simple.
- The output showing environmental impacts is displayed in a graphical form.
