R&D Vision

By promoting the NTT Group's Medium-term Management Strategy*, we—the members of the NTT Group—will realize broadband and ubiquitous services that are marked by “higher speed and comfort” , “safety and security” , and “usability anytime and anywhere”, and that contribute to the creation of rich communication environments in the daily lives of our customers, new efficiency in corporate activities, and development of business opportunities.
From a position creating cutting-edge technologies to realize broadband and ubiquitous services, R&D by the NTT serves as the driving force behind these activities. We will strive to provide knowledge that is defined as useful information to our customers in a naturally interactive and timely manner. We have announced an R&D Vision called “sharing of contextualized knowledge” , and we will spare no effort to pursue the technical innovation of services and networks.
