During fiscal 2007, the NTT Group established the NTT Group CSR Charter to provide fundamental guidelines to enable better implementation of its CSR activities. In our CSR Report, we report on the various CSR activities that we have been implementing under this Charter during fiscal 2011 with the aim of promoting even closer communication with our stakeholders.
In this year's report, we have devoted particular attention to the NTT Group's response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, since it is an issue of utmost importance. We also compiled a special feature on R&D activities aimed at building disaster-resistant infrastructure.
This report is organized into four sections according to the four goals of the NTT Group CSR Charter — communication between people and their communities, communication between people and the global environment, safe and secure communication, and Team NTT communication. In each section, we report on topics that will most interest stakeholders, and on the key CSR activities of group companies.
