Role of NTT (holding company) within the NTT Group

The NTT Group consists of NTT and subsidiaries and affiliates (including 419 consolidated subsidiaries). The Group's main businesses are regional communications, long distance and international communications, mobile communications and data communications. NTT formulates overall group business strategy in consultation with the individual group companies, as well as providing suitable and appropriate advice and facilitation. Based on this support, the individual group companies run themselves as independent business entities, taking responsibility for their own management.
