Regional communications businesses

Business overview

NTT Group companies provide intra-prefectural domestic communications services and operate related businesses. This mainly involves broadband fixed communications services, IP communications services, and sales of communications equipment.

Operating revenues from the NTT Group's regional communications businesses for the year ended March 31, 2008 amounted to 4.2097 trillion yen, accounting for 33.7% of consolidated operating revenue. Employees of the NTT Group's regional communications businesses numbered 110,679 for the year ended March 31, 2008, representing 57.1% of the Group's total workforce.

Long distance and international communications businesses
