NTT Information Network Laboratory Group is undertaking R&D of “Simple”, “Smart”, and “Sustainable” network technologies for contributing to the development of information network society platform which is able to connect all things.

We are dealing with R&D activities considered from the viewpoint of network operation as the operating company that include both aspects of flexibility & serviceability, and sustainability.

Concretely, we are dealing with to realize the network services that are against disasters by developing high reliability and robust network technologies across the range from the access network to the core network and further on to the data servers.

In the long-term view, we are grappling with new network architecture for fixed mobile convergence. And we are developing technologies which reduce power consumption.

The research results of NTT Information Network Laboratory Group have supported the Japanese society utilized in various communications services of NTT Group.
