Energy Systems Project
What is the Energy Systems Project?
Telecommunication technologies - particularly those seen in broadband and related services - are expected to develop in the future as a social infrastructure that will support corporate activities and the social lifestyles of individuals. At the same time, however, the increase in CO2 exhaust volumes resulting from the expansion of communication network facilities has become a growing concern as well.
In the Energy Systems Project, we are conducting technical development aimed at efficient applications of clean energy, in order to reduce the volumes of CO2 generated through NTT's business activities. At the same time, we are working to develop energy technologies that will support ubiquitous services and further improve the reliability of the communication power sources that support the various broadband services being promoted by NTT.
