Today we would like to introduce NTT Resonant Inc., an NTT Group company
NTT Resonant operates “goo”, one of Japan's most popular portal sites. NTT Resonant is aiming to upgrade and develop “goo” into a next generation portal site, and to develop and provide corporate solutions services that employ its site building and operating know-how, and otherwise achieve convenient services that respond to a broad range of Internet user needs.
With its “goo” site, NTT Resonant is addressing international social problems in cooperation with environmental organizations and community service organization. From August 2007, NTT Resonant launched a service that enables users to contribute to environmental protection activities simply by switching their web search service to “goo green”. “goo green” contributes 15% of its profit to community service organization. Over 20,000 corporations* are currently participating in this “goo green” program; it is hoped that the simple and routine act of searching can now help world-wide environmental efforts.
