Launching a New Service Focusing on People’s Voices

NTT DOCOMO began a service that delivers “voice” as messages. We have also developed smartphone applications that use voice recognition technologies to let users compose emails, conduct searches and perform functions using their voice.

"Koe-no-Takuhaibin" service that delivers your voice as message

NTT DOCOMO has started offering "Koe-no-Takuhaibin", a new service that lets users deliver voice messages easily, anytime.
With "Koe-no-Takuhaibin", even customers who find it difficult to compose emails can deliver messages simply, as if making a phone call. However, unlike phone calls, there is no need to worry about whether it is a convenient time for someone to be contacted when leaving a message.

"Speakey" application lets users input characters in emails by voice
"VOICE IT!" application helps users perform searches and other tasks by voice

We started offering on the AndroidTM Market, on a trial basis, "Speakey," an application that lets users input characters in emails, and "VOICE IT!," which helps users launch Internet searches and prompt handset functions by speaking to their smartphones.
