Summary of Consolidated Financial Results for the Fiscal Year Ended March 31, 2011
- Operating revenue increased 123.6 billion yen, or 1.2% from the prior year, to 10,305.0 billion yen
- IP-related revenues increased due to an increase in the number of FLET’S Hikari subscribers and an increase in NTT DOCOMO packet ARPU
- System integration revenues increased due to, among other things, new acquisitions such as Dimension Data Holdings plc and the purchase by NTT DATA of Keane International, Inc.
- Operating expenses increased 26.4 billion yen, or 0.3% from the prior year, to 9,090.1 billion yen
- Depreciation expenses decreased due to greater investment efficiency
- Revenue-linked expenses increased
- Operating income increased 97.2 billion yen, or 8.7% from the prior year, to 1,214.9 billion yen
- The financial impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake on operating income was approximately 30.0 billion yen
