Since the enforcement of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information in 2005, the leak of personal information has become a major risk factor for corporate activities. In particular, “sending emails in error” is frequently reported as the cause of incidents. NTT Software's product “CipherCraft®/Mail” is software that prevents sending emails in error and performs encryption at the same time. 430,000 licenses have been delivered and over 600 companies in Japan have implemented the software.
