NTT R&D fields
NTT carries out basic research and development activities by three laboratory groups in a wide range of fields, including some of the most advanced ICT research in the world.
We are engaged in R&D in a wide variety of technical fields, from basic leading-edge research producing new principles, such as world-class optical technologies, and new components, network technologies, such as the NGN, which has been commercially introduced for the first time in the world, to application services that utilize networks.
