Agenda of NTT Energy and Environment Systems Laboratories is based on three key concepts-Green ICT, Green materials, and Governance by Green-with the goal of completely eliminating CO2 emissions and waste generated by the NTT Group's business activities by the year 2050.
Specifically, we are promoting the following R&D technologies.
1. R&D to reduce CO2 emissions (Green ICT)
2. R&D to save natural resources (Green materials)
3. R&D to promote environmental initiative (Governance by Green)
Moreover, while maintaining open dialog and pulling together with public interests, NTT Group companies, and other NTT R&D laboratories, we plan to step up our commitment to R&D in the fields of energy and the environment to help bring about the green society.
