VoiceUbique: The World's Smallest Lightweight Voice Transmission System
Ultra low-power voice transmission device based on 1-bit quantization transmission technology
   What kind of technology is it?
The voice signal is converted to a compressed 1-bit digital stream data (DSD) format by noise-shaping A/D conversion, and transmitted by infrared rays. The received pulse is then directly input into the speaker without D/A conversion or other circuitry, and demodulated as high-quality speech with ultra-low power consumption. This technology provides ubiquitous, attractive, and easy-to-use voice information services. Also this technology can be used for ultra-small wireless earphones.

   What are the features?
  • Compact and lightweight: Only 3 cc in size and weighing only 4 grams, the wireless voice receiver can be worn continually to provide voice information anytime and anywhere.
  • Excellent sound quality: Based on original digital transmission technology, it provides clear sound quality equivalent to an FM audio broadcast. It can also be used outdoors in full sunlight.
  • Long operating life: 40 hours continuous operation and 400 days continuous standby with a single tiny inexpensive coin battery.
  • Can be used in places where radio-wave use is limited such as in trains and hospitals.
 
   What can it do?
  • Serves as a tiny wireless earphone for listening to One-Seg broadcasts on a mobile phone, DVDs and digital terrestrial broadcasting on a PC, IP videophone content, and other voice content.
  • Perfect for audio tours of natural history and art museums, public venues, company showrooms, etc, or as a means of voice-based planning at amusement facilities.
  • Also works well as an outdoor audio guide, for example at tourist sites, as a tool for providing shopping and other information on the street, and so on.
