NOTIFICATION REGARDING THE CAPITAL CONTRIBUTION TO NTT COMMUNICATIONS CO., LTD.

At the NTT Board of Directors meeting held November 20, 2000, a resolution was passed as follows regarding capital contribution to NTT Communications Co., Ltd. 1. Company Receiving Contribution:     NTT Communications Co., Ltd. 1-6-1 Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo Masanobu Suzuki, President 2. Amount of Contribution 279,300,000,000 yen 3. Pay-in Date November 28, 2000 Notes With this capital contribution by NTT, the total number of shares issued by NTT Communications, as well as other related matters, will be as follows. (1) Total number of shares issued   1,740,000 shares (prior to this contribution, the number was 1,440,000) (2) Capitalization 211.65 billion yen (prior to this contribution, 72 billion yen) (3) Shareholder 100% NTT (4) Use of Funds NTT Communications plans to apply this money to repayment of loans borrowed for the public purchase of stock of the US company Verio.
