(1) Number of Subscribers of Major Services note 1:   1.   In calculating the number of subscribers for INS-Net, the number of subscribers for INS-Net 1500 is multiplied by 10. 2.   INS-Net 1500 career's rate approved by MPHT in June 2002 is not included. (The numbers of subscribers multiplied by 10 are 80 thousands in NTT East and 76 thousands in NTT West. ) (2) ARPU note 2:   1.  Interconnection revenues are excluded. 2.   Revenues of FLET'S ISDN and FLET'S ADSL are added to ISDN revenues and Telephone revenues, respectively. 3.   In calculating ARPU of ISDN, the number of subscribers for INS-Net 1500 is multiplied by 10. 4.   For the number of subscribers for each of ISDN and Telephone, total numbers of active user in each month are used. (see note1:2) 5.   i-mode ARPU = ARPU generated purely from i-mode x (no. of active i-mode users/no. of active cellular phone users) No. of active users = (no. of subscribers at the end of previous quarter + no. of subscribers at the end of current quarter)/2 x no. of months
