Operation Data for Third Quarter of FY2002 (1) Number of Subscribers of Major Services note 1:   1.  In calculating the number of subscribers for INS-Net, the number of subscribers for INS-Net 1500 is multiplied by 10. 2.  INS-Net 1500 career's rate approved by MPHT in June 2002 is not included in the number of subscribers for INS-Net. (The numbers of such subscribers for INS-Net 1500 career's rate multiplied by 10 are 109 thousand in NTT East and 95 thousand in NTT West. ) 3.  Due to revisions in the counting method, the actual number of NTT Group's major ISP users in FY 2001 has been revised from 5,253 thousand. The revised number at the end of 1st Quarter of FY 2002 is 5,408 thousand (originally 5,596 thousand) and that at the end of 2nd Quarter is 5,514 thousand (2) ARPU note 2:   1.  Interconnection revenues are excluded. 2.  For the Third Quarter of FY 2002, revenues of fixed line are estimated using charges claimed in November 2002 and December 2002. 3.  Revenues of FLET'S ISDN and FLET'S ADSL are added to ISDN revenues and Telephone revenues, respectively. 4.  In calculating ARPU of ISDN, the number of subscribers for INS-Net 1500 is multiplied by 10. 5.  For the number of subscribers for each of ISDN and Telephone, total numbers of active users in each month are used.
