NTT Implements Organizational Reform


Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) will change the names of the departments that report directly to the president in order to give the public a clear view of the missions assigned to each department.

NTT will restructure the organizations related to the NTT Group's business process innovation to promote integrally the various initiatives based on the NTT Group Medium-Term Management Strategy.


1. Overview of the Organizational Reform

(1)

The names of the departments that report directly to the president will be changed as follows: Department I will be changed to the Corporate Strategy Planning Department, Department II to the Technology Planning Department, Department III to the Research and Development Planning Department, Department IV to the Finance and Accounting Department, and Department V to the General Affairs Department.

(2)

All the business currently handled by the Business Process Innovation Office under Department V will be transferred to the Corporate Business Strategy Division and the Business Process Innovation Office will be dissolved accordingly.
