NTT Awarded Medal from Royal Government of Cambodia


Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT; Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Norio Wada) is pleased to announce that it was recently awarded the Medal of Friendship (see note below) from the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Since 1960, NTT (and its predecessor, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Public Corporation) has sent its technical experts to Cambodia to help the government's efforts to reconstruct the domestic telecommunications network. NTT was awarded the Medal of Friendship in recognition of its outstanding contributions in this area.


Note:
The Medal of Friendship is one of the highest-ranking medals given to civilians to express the appreciation of Cambodia for deepening mutual friendship.
