Overview of DC Power Supply

A system required as back-up power for communication and information systems must convert AC to DC in order to charge batteries. Energy loss is incurred every time with AC/DC conversion. A DC power supply has fewer AC/DC conversions than AC power supply, so power loss is lessened,The result is energy saving. Energy consumption of air conditioning needed to cool down heat generated by power loss can also be reduced.
