NTT Makes Investment in ASIA INTERNET HOLDING
Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) on August 20 made an investment in ASIA INTERNET HOLDING Co., Ltd. (AIH), a company involved in operations of international internet connection business through its internet backbone in the Asia-Pacific region.Of AIH's capital increase (¥700 million added to the existing ¥900 million capital amount) that was allotted to third parties, NTT underwrote ¥240 million, thus giving it control over 15% of AIH's increased capital of ¥1,600 million.
