NTT Presents Watch-sized PHSs to Olympic Museum
Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) will present its watch-sized PHS to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland*.The NTT-developed watch-sized PHS received high evaluation during its field trial at the Nagano Olympic Winter Games, which resulted in NTT receiving a request from Mr. Manoro Romero of the International Olympic Commission (IOC) to donate watch-sized PHS to the Olympic Museum. NTT, grateful for this opportunity to continue providing to the world an example of NTT's technology after the conclusion of the Nagano Olympic Winter Games, has decided to answer Mr. Romero's request.
The Olympic Museum has the world's largest collection of exhibits related to technologies that have been used in Olympic Games. The watch-sized PHS will be the first example of high technology to be donated to the Olympic Museum from the Nagano Games.

The world's largest information center for the Olympic Games, established in June 1993. New exhibits and panels are added to the museum every time the Olympic Games are held. It is a state-of-the-art museum making use of videos, dialogue-typed computers and displays of various kinds.
