Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) has amended its projected financial results for FY 1999 (April 1, 1998 to March 31, 1999), which were announced on May 22, 1998 as follows: | |||||||||

The amendment was made necessary by NTT's plan to transfer personal handy-phone system (PHS) services from NTT Personal Group companies (NTT Personal) to NTT DoCoMo companies. The following projected benefits/charges will be realized/incurred on a consolidated basis as a result of the liquidation. | |||||||||
