Subsidiary of NTT America Obtains |
ntta.com, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT America, Inc., had been granted a license to provide facilities-based telecommunications services between the United States and Japan on August 28. The company applied to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for authorization to provide the services on July 13. NTT America Inc. is a U.S. subsidiary of NTT. With this approval, along with its license to provide international leased-line resale service, which was obtained on January 26 of this year, the NTT Group plans to provide higher quality and more diversified facilities-based and resale-based services to and from the United States, including international leased-line and frame-relay services, targeted at multinational corporations and telecommunications carriers. |
