NTT Group to Expand Arcstar Services to Malaysia

Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) announced that the NTT Group today will add Malaysia to the service area of its Arcstar Managed Frame Relay and Arcstar Managed Bandwidth Services from tomorrow. This is made possible by the business tie-up between NTT MSC Sdn. Bhd.^*1, NTT's wholly owned subsidiary in Malaysia, and Telekom Malaysia^*2, Malaysia's national flag carrier. The services will be provided under the license of Telekom Malaysia.

As a result, the NTT group will be able to connect Malaysia with other countries and areas already provided with the two services (see Attachment).

The two services, made possible by building telecommunications facilities built to NTT specifications and located in Telekom Malaysia's own facility in Malaysia, are of high-quality and end-to-end. Services in Malaysia will be provided mainly by Telekom Malaysia, but customer support in Malaysia will be provided solely by NTT MSC Sdn. Bhd.

With provision of the Arcstar Services in Malaysia, the NTT group's Arcstar's global service area has expanded to 17 countries and areas.

North America:	U.S.A
