On July 1, 1999, NTT's business activities were transferred to Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone West Corporation, and NTT Communications Co., Ltd.
From this six-month period, the categories of operating revenues have been revised as follows.
"Telephone Services" and part of " Other Services" are indicated as " Voice Transmission Services" and " Telex Services," " Digital Data Exchange Services" and part of "Other Services" are indicated as "Data Transmission Services."
To facilitate comparison, the items "Six Months Ended September 30, 1998" and "Fiscal Year Ended March 31, 1999" have been replaced by "Six Months Ended September 30, 1999."
