TOKYO, JAPAN --- Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (“NTT”) and NTT DATA Corporation (“NTT DATA”) have reached an agreement to transfer all shares of NTT Centerstance, Inc.(“NTT Centerstance”), a wholly owned US subsidiary of NTT, to NTT DATA, Inc., a wholly owned US subsidiary of NTT DATA. In accordance with this agreement, NTT and NTT DATA, Inc. entered into a stock purchase agreement under which NTT Centerstance became a wholly owned subsidiary of NTT DATA, Inc.
As part of the global cloud strategy that the NTT Group promotes, NTT Centerstance and NTT DATA, Inc. have closely collaborated to provide Salesforce related services mainly to US-based customers while strengthening partnership with Salesforce. As a result, Salesforce recognized the NTT Group as one of nine Global Strategic Partner* in 2015.
In order to further leverage NTT DATA’s global service platform to make the NTT Group’s Salesforce business in the US even stronger, the NTT Group has decided to transfer NTT Centerstance from NTT to NTT DATA.
The transaction doubles NTT DATA’s Salesforce delivery capacity and strengthens its already comprehensive cloud application services from consulting, design and implementation services to ongoing support for the world’s most popular cloud applications with onsite, rural shore, nearshore and offshore global delivery centers and one of the industry’s largest teams of certified Salesforce consultants.
The NTT Group will further drive global cloud strategy by expanding the insight and achievements of Salesforce practice in the US globally.
