YAMAGISHI, Kazuhisa

Biography

  • He received his B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tokyo University of Science in 2003 and M.E. degree in Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineering and Ph. D degree from Waseda University in Japan in 2003 and 2013. He joined NTT Laboratories in 2003. He has been engaged in subjective quality assessment of multimedia telecommunications and image coding. Currently, he is working on the quality assessment of multimedia services over IP networks. From 2010 to 2011, he was a Visiting Researcher at Arizona State University. He received the Young Investigators' Award (IEICE) in Japan in 2007, the Telecommunication Advancement Foundation Award in Japan in 2008, the ITU-AJ Encouragement Awards in 2017, and the TTC Award for Distinguished Service in 2018.
